I was there at the beginning. I first came across House music in 1987. I went to the Acid House raves of 1988/89. I went thru the clubbing explosion of the 1990s and to the festivals. I worked in the clubs and raves mainly with decor and videos.Later when the digital revolution started I started DJing just for friends and parties and some bars and clubs . But nothing too big. I have been djing for many years . I have also produced Mixed albums and digital EPs.Deep House Tech House and Minimal / Techno , Deep Tech genres are what I like to play the most. I also like Deep Soulful House Tunes , Downtempo Ambient music but all started with House music.I hope my mixes inspire you. Working with companies such as SCORCHED AM, UNITED TEKNO RECORDS, SEQUENCED RECORDINGS, CAVELABZ ENT, CAFFEINE EVENTS, and Dementia 909 Frostbreaks has proven his technique of bringing a new sound that keeps the dance floor flowing with constant movement. His fondness of all genres from House, Electro, Progressive, Techno, and Minimal has given him the ability to try something new and funky which brings out his own favorite and personal style of Tech House, Funk, Techno, and Tribal blends. Yes my friends, i am basically a slave to the house rhythm and a DJ for life. Started way back in the very early 90's and have never lost my love of music. Progressed from jumping around like a lunatic in a tent on a regular basis to being a club DJ once the scene had moved into the nightclubs and away from big tent events such as Raindance, Energy, Cryptonite.....if you're old enough to remember lol

All of my mixes fall mainly into the deep house category, but may tend at times to include a bit of tech house and techno, just to add a bit of colour to the sets, I'm more of a hobbyist than a club dj, as i have never played live in any club, My main influences in all things house would be Carl cox, Peter kruder, Richard dorfmeister,Jimster,Dj hell,Florian meindl,Kaiserdisco,Mladen tomic,Ripperton, Antony pappa, deep child, deep groove, to name but a few, cheers all...Keep er lite!!!

I've been DJing on the UK House scene since 1993 (and for 2 years on the "rave" scene before that) and over the past 30+ years I've been fortunate enough to play for some of THE biggest and most established clubs and promoters around the globe, including bookings for the likes of Defected, Glitterbox, Mission, Garlands, FunkDelux, Hed Kandi, Dirtyfunk, Miss Moneypennys, The Gallery, Escucha, Head, Ministry Of Sound, Venus, Housexy, Hard Times, Xstatic, Progress, Fantazia, Xstatic, and many many more. Not to mention 2 seasons and countless trips out to Ibiza, Marbella and beyond to play for the likes of Es Paradis, Hed Kandi, Pacha, Kanya, Plastic, Itaca, Garlands, Blowin' Up, Ocean Beach, Mode and Zoo, and festival appearances at Xstatic, GFest and Lowdown. I am currently resident DJ for UK House promoters Housexy, and Glitteratti. I host a monthly guest mix on Cyprus based ROCKFM (3rd Friday of every month,8-10 UK time) which goes out on FM radio right across mainland and eastern Europe, as well as via the internet, and I also have a weekly radio show every Monday on sublimesounds.com (8-10pm UK time), not to mention regular guest slots on internet and FM radio stations all around the globe, from Australia to Brazil to Tokyo to Finland, and of course, the UK. In 2015 I won the House-Mixes Soulful House mix competition, which opened a lot of doors and gave me a huge amount of media interest around the globe. I've previously done a guest mix for Defected In The House radio, and 2 for Hed Kandi radio. In 2016 I took step back from DJing to focus on family life, getting married, children etc -y k'now, all the normal grown up stuff - and returned to live club DJing in 2019 after being offered a residency at Mono.... and I've been there pretty much ever since. It's great because they love my sound and believe in what i do, they give me the freedom to play the Disco House sound I love, when many other promoters are tending to favor darker techier sounds for their dancefloors. But the queues at the door each week show that people still love the Funky Disco House sound, and it's still got a massive army of fans who want something more soulful on their weekends. Even though I'm just starting out on my DJing journey again It's great to be back doing what I love and having the opportunity to play to a crowd, I really missed that interaction you only get with a live crowd. The scene itself may be more competitive than ever before, but its also more creative, and i like that, I love the fact that I can express myself through my music and creativity. 2023 is looking to be my busiest year yet, with DJ bookings and media interest building up nicely, and lots of international booking interest. Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space!
